This exhibition explores how Futurist concepts anticipated today's reality. Many ideas theorized and practiced by the Futurists have become commonplace. Specifically, speed and simultaneity, key Futurist tenets, profoundly influence our daily lives, for better or worse.

Umberto Boccioni stated in his 1914 "Pittura scultura futuriste": "Our work, fresh from a few months ago... anticipates Italian artistic sensibility by at least a hundred years."

The exhibition showcases works by Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Tullio Crali, Ferdinando Depero, De Pistoris, Gerardo Dottori, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, and Růžena Zátková. Alongside these Futurist masterpieces, three Italian artists – Fabio Giampietro, Donato Piccolo, and Quayola – present new works. Inspired by Futurist theories, they envision the near future.
