Marina Abramović Element: Digital Performance Exhibition
From November 24, 2026, to February 24, 2027, the MNAD (National Museum of Digital Art) presents Marina Abramović Element at Palazzo Citterio. This exhibition features digital performances by Marina Abramović, supported by TAEX Gallery and curated by Clelia Patella.
For over fifty years, Abramović has focused her work on the presence of the body, creating images that persist beyond their initial performance and enter our collective memory. With Marina Abramović Element, her practice expands through a digital avatar, a twin of the artist, which acts as a conduit for her artistic gestures, pushing beyond the physical body's limitations.
The project began with ART, a series exploring the rich symbolism in Abramović's work. It now continues with METHOD, a collection of works based on the renowned Abramović Method, the foundation of the Marina Abramović Institute.
