Following the release of BordoCam footage from the Inter vs. Monza match, which Inter won 4-1, images have gone viral showing referee Livio Marinelli's questionable interactions with some players on the field. The referee's initial address to the two captains was clear: "I can talk with you, the team must not approach. If 3-4 of you come over, I will take action."

Lautaro and Bastoni Targeted

During a corner kick, Marinelli approached Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, who was near goalkeeper Pizzignacco, and reprimanded him. The 1999-born player, who didn't even touch the goalkeeper, immediately retorted: "This is a different league, eh!" The tone used by the referee did not sit well with Lautaro Martinez either, who exclaimed: "Hey, calm down a bit, calm down a bit!" The conversation continued with the referee saying, "You're exaggerating with everyone! Calm down a bit!" After being told to focus on playing, the referee encountered Lautaro again before halftime. The Argentine was still upset, saying, "What is happening, I'm just asking why, you can't talk to you, you've been speaking badly to me since the beginning."
