Grosso: Mandragora Recovered, Kean and Pellegrino Fit for Fiorentina Clash
Fiorentina coach Fabio Grosso provided an update on his squad's fitness ahead of their match against Roma. Grosso confirmed that all injured players have recovered and are available for selection. He expressed confidence in his team's physical and mental readiness for the important encounter.
"We are all well. Fortunately, we have recovered all the players who were struggling with minor injuries. They are all available," Grosso stated in his pre-match press conference. "We will also be calling up some young players who have been training with us. The squad is ready, both physically and mentally, for this match."
The coach emphasized the crucial role of the mental aspect in performing well against a strong opponent. "The mental aspect will be very important for us to do well. All those who are called up will be capable of playing the game. We know that the opponent is strong. We have prepared to fight and to showcase our qualities."
Addressing the condition of forward Moise Kean, Grosso reassured that he is in good shape both physically and mentally and ready to compete. "Moise is doing well physically and mentally. He is ready to face this high-level game with his teammates."
Grosso also highlighted the depth of his attacking options, mentioning Kean, Pellegrino, and Mandragora as key players. He indicated that decisions regarding the starting lineup would depend on the desired game strategy. "We have four attacking players for three spots, there is Kean and there is Pellegrino, on whom we need to decide what kind of game we want to play, there is Mandragora."
The coach concluded with optimism about his team's preparation and potential performance. "Kean is doing well, Pellegrino too, Mastantuono is growing, Atta is improving. I am convinced that we have prepared ourselves to play a great game. I am convinced that we will."
