Juventus continues to hold the top spot in terms of football fans in Italy. However, for the second consecutive year, the club is experiencing a decrease in its supporter base. This trend is highlighted in a study by Sponsor Value, conducted in collaboration with Ipsos Doxa for the 2025/26 season. Overall, 25.6 million Italians identify as supporters of a Serie A club, a figure that has remained largely stable compared to the previous season.

Juventus leads the rankings with 7,741,000 fans, despite a 1.6% decline. Following closely is Inter, which has grown to 4,275,000 supporters (a 2.3% increase). AC Milan rounds out the top three with 3,976,000 fans and boasts the highest growth rate among the top five clubs, at 4.2%.

Napoli Surpasses 3 Million and Continues to Grow: The Fanbase Rankings

Napoli's growth also continues, solidifying their fourth-place position with 3,079,000 fans, marking an increase of 1.4%. This positive trend has been consistent for the second consecutive year. Roma is fifth with 1,790,000 supporters, while Fiorentina ranks sixth with 655,000 fans, experiencing a 6.6% decrease.

The data paints a picture of Juventus's continued dominance in fan numbers, yet it is accompanied by a gradual erosion of their support. In contrast, Inter, AC Milan, and Napoli are steadily gaining more followers. Among the 25.6 million Italian football fans, 55% are men and 45% are women. The most represented age group is between 35 and 54 years old, making up 47% of the total fanbase.
