Ravezzani: "Milan Looks Stronger Than Last Year, Now Has a Key Defender and a Top Striker"

Fabio Ravezzani, director of TeleLombardia, shared his thoughts with TuttoMercatoWeb on the top Italian clubs and the upcoming championship.

Which transfer signing intrigues you the most right now?

'Gonçalo Ramos, because he was the most expensive and the most captivating. Of course, this fascination has been accompanied by some doubts, given that he was a substitute at PSG, but I am curious. Between the Portuguese player and Morerira, the Rossoneri have invested over 120 million euros.'

Milan has spent 155 million on three players so far, while Juventus has spent 160 million. Which of the two has had the better incoming transfer market?

'Milan seems stronger to me than a year ago, as they now have a reference defender and a top-level striker. For Juventus, however, I struggle to see a significant improvement; Kolo Muani doesn't strike me as a difference-making center forward, and in goal, the statistics between Vicario and Di Gregorio aren't that different regarding save percentages. There are also many young profiles; I have more doubts about the Bianconeri, in short.'

Does Allegri find a team closer to his idea of football at Napoli?

'He is a great manager, so if you give him a team with good fundamentals, he can do well. Napoli has those fundamentals, and that's why I believe the second-strongest team in the championship will be the Azzurri. It's certainly Allegri's last chance, because if he fails, the anti-Allegri faction will not stop.'
