JERRY REYES – 14 Black Assistant Coach, Master Coach
Coach Jerry has been coaching volleyball for over 12 years and has a great passion for the sport. His focus is to help players improve their technical skills and develop self-confidence to play at the next level. A retired USAV and NFHS Volleyball Official, Jerry’s extensive strategic knowledge of the game has made him a valuable resource as a Master Floater coach at No Panic for the past two seasons. Always even-keeled on the court, Jerry pushes his players to challenge themselves and constantly work to improve their game.
He started by playing volleyball during high school. While attending the University of Maryland, he was an assistant coach on Varsity at Oxon Hill High School, where the team made the playoffs every year. He has been involved with USAV adult club volleyball and has played with the famous "Wicked Carrots" team, which continually won their adult division.
This will be his third year with No Panic Volleyball. Widely known to No Panic players as an expert setting coach, Jerry was also a regular assistant at practice and tournaments to No Panic’s 16s Matrix team last year. He is looking forward to reuniting with his coaching partner, Coach Ricky, to lead a highly competitive 15s team at No Panic this year.
When not coaching, Jerry enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
