Ricky Sorlouangsana - Athletic Strength Conditioning (Speed & Agility)

Coach Ricky has worked with No Panic Volleyball Club since our beginning in 2013 and he brings 18 years of experience to the club.  Ricky's extensive coaching experience in volleyball includes three seasons as the Varsity Head Coach of The Academy of the Holy Cross in Maryland (2002-2004).  Holy Cross were semi - finalists and finalists in 2003 & 2004.  He started coaching club volleyball with Metro VA 16 Boys from 2001-2002.  After a season with Metro VA, he transitioned to Metro American Volleyball Club in 2004 where he coached various top teams in the 14s - 18s age group for 12 years.

Ricky is hands down one of the most technical and knowledgeable volleyball coaches in the Mid - Atlantic region and arguably the east coast of the U.S.  His creativity, calmness and leadership has increased our coaching core both technically and competitively. His contributions as the Assistant Coach for 16s Matrix last season were instrumental in their successful season.

Over the years, Ricky has completed numerous coaching clinics: 2011 The Art of Coaching Volleyball - Russ Rose, Terry Liskevych, John Dunning; Sport Performance Volleyball - Rick Butler; The Winning Edge - GMU.

I would like to give players the opportunity to be successful, improve their fundamental skills, and build confidence as well as to prepare them to play the next highest level of competition
